About:
Forged in iron. Molded by the sea. Baptized in blood.

Captain Roscoe wasn't always a feared and renowned pirate captain of the high seas. He started out as a small weak child, living in and around the docks of Lyrabar, scrounging for food. Many of the older boys of the docks would beat him half to death for the measly crumbs he found in the crevices of the dark alleys. On a dark and stormy night, when he was but ten years old, a group of boys savagely beat Roscoe to a bloody pulp, and threw him into the bay.

He floated there all through the night, falling in and out of consciousness, until he scraped up against the hull of The Wicked Wench. He was hauled up to the deck, and as soon as Roscoe touched the deck, he started swinging wild punches in every direction, thinking he was going to die. The captain of the Wench, Captain Barlow Gale saw the commotion on his deck, and saw the fight in Roscoe. Barlow knew this boy needed a guide to these sorrowful world, and so took him under his wing, teaching him the ways of the sail, and the art of the sword. Roscoe embraced the life of the pirate, and joined his first boarding party at the age of 11.

The years go on, and The Wicked Wench would go on to take many prizes from the sea, with Roscoe Tosscobble leading the charge. Alas, a pirate is not meant to live a long and full life, and Captain Barlow Gale was cut down while attempting to take a ship. Roscoe, now 25, mourned the loss of his father figure, but promised to avenge him. Roscoe became captain of The Wicked Wench, and tore across the sea, sinking any ship that dared to cross her path.

Every pirate must take rest though, and he made port in his old town of Lyrabar. As he was walking down the filthy, grimy streets of the town, he saw a group of men accosting an elderly woman. He realized these men were the same group of boys that had terrorized him all those years ago. The men tried to take the woman's belongings, but not before another tall man came in and grabbed one of the men. The men turned their attention away from the woman and started beating the man senseless. Roscoe recalled his horrid times as a boy, and could not abide these men terrorizing any more of this town. Roscoe grabbed his blades and cut down each and every single one of those once fearsome faces, relishing in their last moments. Roscoe turned toward the man that had tried to help the elderly woman and helped him back up. "Bloody hell, that was the dumbest thing I've ever seen somebody do" Roscoe said, "What's your name, kid?"."Nosirrag." He answered, "Nosirrag Fle". Roscoe looked back on that day he was pulled from the depths, and how weak and helpless he must have looked, just like this innocent man before him.

So, Roscoe showed Nosirrag how to be strong and independent, showing him the ways of the pirate, and the art of the sword. Roscoe would sail the seas, taking all that he could, and would always come back to Lyrabar, where Nosirrag would be sitting in a tavern, eating whipped cream. Roscoe would share his stories of pirating, and Nosirrag would share his stories of eating whipped cream.

Alas, a happy ending is not a pirate's way. On a dark and stormy night, Roscoe was chasing a ship, long rumored to be holding a vast treasure of immeasurable value. He chased that ship for three days and three nights, until finally the wind was on his side. He boarded the ship, and found that it was completely empty, not a sign of crew at all. His crew searched the ship, and deep inside the cargo hold they found an ornately carved chest. They hauled it onboard the Wench, and pried it open. What came forth was an unspeakable evil, a force that took over his crew, transforming them into some kind of monster, neither dead, nor are they alive. And the evil manifested itself into a man of rotting flesh. Captain Blackheart. This captain was intelligent, and respected Captain Roscoe as his equal, he did not kill Roscoe, but marooned him on a deserted island. Captain Roscoe nearly went mad during his time alone on this island, but luckily a passing fishing trawler saw him and rescued him.

Captain Roscoe now roams this world looking for a family, a crew, and revenge.

Forged in iron, molded by the sea, baptized in blood.
