About:
Everyone is ordained with a destiny from the Gods. And in doing so, everyone is ordained to suffer.
My tabaxi clan was destined to perish. Before I was old enough to even understand, my Village was ambushed by the Drow: murderous dark elves who ripped family from family in their conquest. I was lucky enough to be hidden and shocked enough to not make a sound as I watched my mother get the life stripped away by black magic. For three days I wasn’t found. On the fourth day I was discovered by a strange woman. She took me away from the village I once knew and started caring for me as though I were her own. My priestess’s name was Glenda; she mentored me in different teachings of nature and magic, and taught me to be devout in her patron Goddess, Selune.
Her destiny was to find me, teach me, and raise me to care for myself and her, but it did not carry on much further. After coming back home from a hunt I saw her cut down, scarred in a way I faintly recognized. I didn’t have much time to process, for seconds later I was captured by a dark figure. This figure revealed herself to be a dark elf named Cal’Zebey, reformed to serve the goddess Selune and fight against her kind. Her and I fled before more forces arrived, and took solace in my late mentor’s safe house for her kind, the Pact of the New Moon. The leader of the Pact gave us refuge, and allowed us to both continue our missions against the Drow along with training in each other’s practices: her in Druidcraft, and myself in the dark magic that had plagued so many in my past.
My most recent mission for the Pact sent me to the Beastlands to track the steps of Malar, God of Lycanthropes, and his association with the Baenre Drow. After a day of unsuccessful observation I returned to camp to find it compromised and sought to take out the target and withhold them for information on the Drow. This target in particular turned out to not actually be dark elves, but rather a group of heroes left quite winded from the fight, yet eager to continue their efforts to release a Goddess from capture- my patron Goddess, Selune. I joined their quest and aided in the release of Selune and Solinar, as well as delivering the final blow to Malar, earning the title of Godkiller and Server of Selune.
These heroes have given me a family I have never known. I have proudly joined the Chosen Family’s ranks, not because I am chosen by any God, but because I have chosen this life and company. And in doing so, I have found my destiny.
